On March 1st 2016, NSW will enforce stricter regulations and laws around cyclists and motorists sharing the road. These laws have been implemented to further protect drivers and riders and to ensure that a level of accountability is achieved for both parties.
The law introduces a range of new expectations, from requiring all cyclists over the age of 18 to carry photo ID to enforcing a new set fines for unlawful behaviour on the road. We explain this further in the infographic below.
