Andrew was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014 and is also on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.
Andrew is an experienced litigation solicitor with expertise in a wide range of legal areas, including wills and estates, estate litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, debt recovery, and family law (among others). Andrew often runs cases in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, but he also has handled matters across multiple jurisdictions, including all levels of the NSW Courts, from the Local Court of New South Wales to the Court of Appeal of New South Wales, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the federal courts.
At Owen Hodge Lawyers, Andrew’s focus is estate litigation. Andrew has extensive experience both prosecuting and defending against family provision claims under Chapter 3 of the Succession Act 2006 (NSW) and legal proceedings contesting the validity of wills, among other estate disputes. His broad background across multiple areas of law and many jurisdictions gives him a well-rounded and practical perspective, which is particularly valuable in complex estate disputes that often involve overlapping legal, commercial, and personal issues.
Andrew combines his strong technical ability to identify and address complex legal issues with a practical and strategic approach to his clients’ matters. This allows Andrew to obtain practical and commercial outcomes for his clients in their best interests and in accordance with their legal rights.
